We let this low portion of our pasture grow naturally the last two years. This section floods a few times every year from the river. It wasn’t worth fixing the fence every year for the small area of pasture we gain. The iron w**d is over 6’ tall in some places. The bees and butterflies are all over it.

Dairy beef cross show, second place in type in his class. Not a bad showing for a calf that was bred, born and raised on our farm!

10 dozen ears of corn cut and bagged for the freezer. Thanks to Schlechter brothers country harvest, the corn was perfect!

Best way to use up tomatoes, throw in a bowl with a little olive oil, fresh basil, salt and mozzarella.
And my favorite way to use up banana papers with salami and cream cheese- bake at 350 until peppers are soft!
