I’m on baby watch.
Mama T(agg) has been laying down all day. I’m hoping the next few hours.
Pictured here with her “baby” Lane Frost (AKA Frosty), one year old last July.

If it’s a heifer, I’m thinking her name will be Dolly. If it’s a little bull, Waylon (Wyatt)???

What do y’all think?
1. Bull or heifer?
2. How soon?

🐮 Two good-looking Highlanders looking for new pastures! 🤎

Meet Goose & April, two beautiful little Highland coos from Spirit Farms!

Both are sired by Rip (N/N E+/E+) and have some great genetics behind them.

🤎 Goose — Born 12/19/25
Rip × Delta Dawn (Dh/Dh e/e)

💛 April — Born 1/14/26
Rip × Beth (Dh/N e/e)

Both have those adorable shaggy Highland looks and plenty of personality! April is shy and sweet (like her mama!) and Goose will make a great herd sire or a good-natured steer.

We moved Tagg to the Mama Pen because she should be calving in a few weeks. Her baby, Lane Frost (AKA Frosty) knew her! In fact, a little while later, he pushed open the gate and let himself in with her (and closed it behind him!). This has to be one of sweetest things I have ever witnessed in my life. 🤎🤍

If you don’t have a baby goat, you are absolutely missing out on the best part of life. I don’t think there’s anything more joyful and precious that we have ever had. I don’t have a video or picture, but just watching this crackhead out the window with her mama and Uncle Shadow has made my whole ❤️ so happy!
