I came outside the other morning, looked at the puppies’ pool, and thought, “Why is this thing EMPTY?” 😂

My first thought was that Mike just hadn’t filled it very full.

Nope.

The puppies ate their pool. 🤦‍♀️😂

Apparently those tiny little puppy teeth are perfectly capable of putting holes straight through the bottom of a kiddie pool. And, just for good measure, the sides have seen better days too. 😂

So much for that pool.

And while we’re talking puppies, Hubert is still looking for his own good home. ❤️ He’s a sweet red boy, and if you think he might be a good fit for you—or you’d like to know more about him—just send me a message!

Meanwhile, I guess I’m in the market for another puppy pool… 🐶💦😂

❤️ A little puppy update... and an update on Stella.
The puppies are 11 weeks old now, and it's hard to believe how quickly they've grown.

This weekend is another exciting milestone—Hamish is heading home to live with my cousin Jill, Smokey, and Milo (one of last year's puppies 🥰). I can't wait to watch him grow up with such a wonderful family.

That leaves just two puppies still looking for their forever homes:
🐾 Hubert – Red Male
🐾 Merida – Red Female

I also wanted to share why things have been a little quieter here lately.

About three weeks ago, Stella developed tick paralysis. It's caused by a neurotoxin released by certain ticks while they're attached to a dog. Once the tick is removed, the body has to clear the toxin and allow the nerves to recover, which can take time.

We're now in week three of recovery. Stella has regained good strength in her head and neck, and she's even started wagging her tail again. She still isn't walking yet, but every week we're seeing a little more progress.

This is almost an exact repeat of what happened last year. Because it's now happened twice, I've made the difficult decision that this will be Stella's final litter. Her health comes first, and she's more than earned her retirement from motherhood. ❤️
So, if you've been hoping for a puppy from the Stella × Pudge pairing, Hubert and Merida are the last two available.

Thank you to everyone who's checked in on Stella and loved these puppies along the way. We truly appreciate all the prayers, encouragement, and support. ❤️🐾

🐾 The puppy update everyone has been waiting for...

These little troublemakers are officially 8 weeks old! ❤️

It's hard to believe how much they've grown over the last couple of months. Their personalities are really starting to shine, and they're ready to find their forever families.

We're still looking for great homes for four of these sweet Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) puppies:

❤️ Hubert – Red Male
❤️ Merida – Red Female
💙 Jasmine – Blue Female

Each one has their own unique personality, but they all share the intelligence, loyalty, and playful spirit Heelers are known for.

🐾 Seven weeks already... where has the time gone? 🐾

It's hard to believe these little ones will be 7 weeks old tomorrow! They've grown into happy, playful, curious puppies, and watching their personalities develop has been so much fun.

These five are currently looking for their forever homes and are available for rehoming:

I'll be at the Iowa Quarter Horse Association Scenic City Show in Iowa Falls from Thursday through Saturday. One puppy is already making the trip to meet their new family, so if you've been considering welcoming one of these pups into your home and would like me to bring one to the show, please send me a private message before Thursday. If we make arrangements ahead of time, they'll be ready to head home with their new family.

A little throwback to last week...

The pups took their first big road trip to the vet for their wellness exams and first puppy vaccinations. They were all incredibly brave, got lots of love, and were more than ready for the ride back home afterward.

These little personalities keep growing every day, and it's been so much fun watching them become more curious and confident as they explore the world.

Now they're back to running, playing, and keeping us on our toes. ❤️

🐶 Big move day! 🏡

A few days ago, these little rascals officially graduated from the front entry to their outside puppy pen!

Their new space has plenty of room to run, a puppy pool to cool off in, shade for hot days, grass to explore, straw to nap in, and even an igloo dog house where they can curl up if they need a little quiet time. 💛

I couldn't have made move-in day nearly this easy without my amazing hubby. He was busy loading puppies into the Gorilla Cart while I stood guard to make sure nobody made a run for freedom. Teamwork definitely won the day. 😊

I know I'm a few days late sharing this, but baking and market prep have kept me busy. The puppies, however, are already settling in and loving all the extra space.

Now let's see how long it takes before the escape artists start looking for their next adventure. 🐾😂

🚨 Puppy Adventure Update 🚨

Today the puppies got their first real taste of the outside world.

While I cleaned the front entry, they got to explore the front porch, sniff new smells, and take in all the exciting sights and sounds beyond the puppy room. 🐶🌎

There was plenty of investigating, a little bit of bravery, and a lot of curiosity. 😂

This is just the beginning, though.

We're working on getting their outside puppy pen ready, and today's porch adventure was a little preview of what's to come. I have a feeling they're going to love having more room to run, play, and explore.

Then again... knowing this bunch, they'll probably spend the first day figuring out how to escape it. 🤦‍♀️💛🐾

🚨 Puppy Escape Update 🚨

The escapees are at it again. 😂

First they escaped the puppy pool.

Then they started knocking over my makeshift baby gate made from oven racks.

Then we added a milk crate to reinforce it.

Now they've decided the new gate from Amazon needs to be tested too. 🤦‍♀️🐶

Apparently every time I improve security, they see it as a new challenge.

They're smart little turds, and I'm pretty sure they're already planning their next move.

Good thing they're moving to their outside puppy pen soon, because I'm running out of ideas... and they're running out of patience. 😂

🐶✨ 4 Weeks Old Already! ✨🐶

The puppies are officially four weeks old, and their personalities are getting bigger every day.

We've graduated from mostly eating and sleeping to exploring, playing, wrestling, and occasionally testing the effectiveness of the puppy pen. 😂

They've been doing great with puppy gruel, love their morning playtime, and are becoming more curious about the world around them.

Since we're going with a Disney theme this litter, some of the names so far are:

🏹 Hamish
🏹 Hubert
👑 Tiana
🕌 Jasmine

And I'm still trying to decide between Cinderella, Pocahontas, or Snow White ("Snow" for short) for one of the blue girls. 💛

Three puppies have already found their future families and will be meeting them in about a month. For now, we're enjoying getting to know the rest of these little personalities as they grow.
