Hubert is still looking for his own good home, and with the BHF and IQHA Fall Classic coming up in Des Moines, I had a thought. ❤️

I wasn’t planning to attend either show this year, BUT if Hubert’s right person happens to be headed to one of them and is seriously interested in him, I would absolutely try to figure out a way to get this handsome boy to Des Moines so you could meet him.

He’s a fun, happy little guy with plenty of personality—as I think the pictures demonstrate. 😂❤️

Pool replacement mission: successful. 😂🐶💦

After discovering that tiny puppy teeth and kiddie pools apparently aren’t the best combination, we went looking for a replacement. We couldn’t find one at the local farm store, so I was starting to think the puppies might just be out of luck.

Luckily, we found this old one hiding around the farm. 🙌

And I think it’s safe to say they approve. 😂 With 90+ degree temperatures this week—before we even talk about the humidity—they’ve definitely been happy to have somewhere to splash around and cool off.

Now we’ll just see how long this one survives… 👀😂🐶💦

Another Stella update. ❤️

For anyone who hasn’t been following along, Stella is dealing with tick paralysis again after going through it last summer too. Basically, a neurotoxin from a tick causes weakness and paralysis.

We’re about seven weeks in now. She still isn’t walking, but she’s sitting up really well on her own—and we’ll take every bit of progress. ❤️

Of course, getting her to actually show off for the camera was another story. 😂 Apparently belly rubs were much more important.

Slowly but surely, Stella girl. ❤️🐶

I came outside the other morning, looked at the puppies’ pool, and thought, “Why is this thing EMPTY?” 😂

My first thought was that Mike just hadn’t filled it very full.

Nope.

The puppies ate their pool. 🤦‍♀️😂

Apparently those tiny little puppy teeth are perfectly capable of putting holes straight through the bottom of a kiddie pool. And, just for good measure, the sides have seen better days too. 😂

So much for that pool.

And while we’re talking puppies, Hubert is still looking for his own good home. ❤️ He’s a sweet red boy, and if you think he might be a good fit for you—or you’d like to know more about him—just send me a message!

Meanwhile, I guess I’m in the market for another puppy pool… 🐶💦😂

❤️ A little puppy update... and an update on Stella.
The puppies are 11 weeks old now, and it's hard to believe how quickly they've grown.

This weekend is another exciting milestone—Hamish is heading home to live with my cousin Jill, Smokey, and Milo (one of last year's puppies 🥰). I can't wait to watch him grow up with such a wonderful family.

That leaves just two puppies still looking for their forever homes:
🐾 Hubert – Red Male
🐾 Merida – Red Female

I also wanted to share why things have been a little quieter here lately.

About three weeks ago, Stella developed tick paralysis. It's caused by a neurotoxin released by certain ticks while they're attached to a dog. Once the tick is removed, the body has to clear the toxin and allow the nerves to recover, which can take time.

We're now in week three of recovery. Stella has regained good strength in her head and neck, and she's even started wagging her tail again. She still isn't walking yet, but every week we're seeing a little more progress.

This is almost an exact repeat of what happened last year. Because it's now happened twice, I've made the difficult decision that this will be Stella's final litter. Her health comes first, and she's more than earned her retirement from motherhood. ❤️
So, if you've been hoping for a puppy from the Stella × Pudge pairing, Hubert and Merida are the last two available.

🐾 The puppy update everyone has been waiting for...

These little troublemakers are officially 8 weeks old! ❤️

It's hard to believe how much they've grown over the last couple of months. Their personalities are really starting to shine, and they're ready to find their forever families.

We're still looking for great homes for four of these sweet Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) puppies:

❤️ Merida – Red Female
💙 Jasmine – Blue Female

Each one has their own unique personality, but they all share the intelligence, loyalty, and playful spirit Heelers are known for.

🐾 Seven weeks already... where has the time gone? 🐾

It's hard to believe these little ones will be 7 weeks old tomorrow! They've grown into happy, playful, curious puppies, and watching their personalities develop has been so much fun.

These five are currently looking for their forever homes and are available for rehoming:

I'll be at the Iowa Quarter Horse Association Scenic City Show in Iowa Falls from Thursday through Saturday. One puppy is already making the trip to meet their new family, so if you've been considering welcoming one of these pups into your home and would like me to bring one to the show, please send me a private message before Thursday. If we make arrangements ahead of time, they'll be ready to head home with their new family.

A little throwback to last week...

The pups took their first big road trip to the vet for their wellness exams and first puppy vaccinations. They were all incredibly brave, got lots of love, and were more than ready for the ride back home afterward.

These little personalities keep growing every day, and it's been so much fun watching them become more curious and confident as they explore the world.

Now they're back to running, playing, and keeping us on our toes. ❤️
