Predators... does your predator proofing work... this fox stays clear of my hen run to the right... why, you ask? Using the app I set reminders to check my coops safety. In this case you can see the fox stays clear of the fencing which has 3 layers. Regular chicken wire on the runs, 1/4 mesh 4ft high as an outer barrier free range pen, and then 4 strands of hot wire, all powered by solar!!! The coops and run are movable within our free range area and can be moved so we aren't cleaning all the time. But our girls remain completely safe at all times...
