Helene damage lingers on…

Helen clean up continues. After a month, we still have major issues to address. We are just now getting to a stable level of ground under all of the mud and sand. The front of the farm grading has been completed and hydro-seeded to stabilize the soil. We thank all of you who have contributed to our and personally reached out to us. We miss our farm visitors!

The Rapids and Rocks campsites before Helene. The creek is now a pond since the storm deposited tons of mud and sand.

Helene cleanup continues…in the first part of the video you can see the boulder stairs leading down to the Rapids campsite the bottom four were covered in mud and sand. The creek that used to flow to the river is now a pond. Thank you for supporting our efforts to repair and recover! We appreciate our visitors!

Surveying the damage left by Hurricane Helene. Tons of mud and debris, fallen trees hung up on the shoreline and compromised structures. It is amazing that anything is still standing. Thank you for your prayers, donations and well wishes! We miss seeing our farm visitors!
