We had an absolute blast in Houston last month and are just trying to get caught up on a few things while Molly & Hunter are home calving and Leslie helps with the state show in Paris.
Results-
STAR AMERICAN HONEY Reserve Grand Champion Pb Female for new owner topher_dalton Show Biotics
STAR CAJUN QUEEN Reserve division Champion
STAR WHISKEY GIRL & Kaylin Jacobs Reserve Division Champion
We were also so excited to find out that the Grand Champion PB Female was also out of a Magnum Daughter ; Congratulations to Isabella Anderson!!

That means that in the Pb Female final drive
2 out of 4 were sired By 4D Mr Voodoo Child, 3 out of 4 were Gilda 097Y great grand babies , and both grand and reserve Champion were out of MagnumPI daughters. How cool is that!!

The Star Ranch team and friends had an incredible Cattlemen's Congress National Braunvieh Show ! We survived hauling 15 head of show and sale cattle. The National sale was a resounding success, the quality of stockthat showed up from everyone was the deepest we have seen in a long time in both the sale & show. The Voodoo Child calves made a big splash.

Jr show -
Reserve Grand Purebred Female Kaylin Jacobs with Star Whiskey Girl 97M
& Reserve Grand Percentage Female with her Bred and Owned BOF MAYBELINE (lazy JB Ranchin out of a Magnum PI daughter).

Riley Rae Boling winning division one purebreds with CREOLE WOMAN (Voodoo Child X STAR ELAINE)
Quirt Odom wining his division in the Percentage show with VECC MARSHMALLOW (aka Miss Sass).

The Open National Show was also a whirl wind.
Reserve Grand Champion in the percentage show again Kaylin’s BOF MAYBELINE,
Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Female STAR AMERICAN HONEY 35N2 ( VOODOO CHILD X STAR MELANIA(Magnum PI/mcb 5135)).
Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Bull was STAR PENDLETON 43N2 (VOODOO CHILD X STAR LIL DARLIN(by Magnum PI)).
Rylie Rae and Creole reserved Division one PB females , STAR WONDER WOMAN 135N (VOODOO CHILD X MCB 5135) won her class,
Quirt Odom won his class in the percentage show with VECC marshmallow,
STAR WHISKEY GIRL 97M won her division,
4D MR VOODOO CHILD 6G had the champion get of sire
& Star Ranch stood Reserve in Breeders Four .

The top 3 in class one in the PB open female show were all Voodoo calves. The two reserve grand champion purebreds in the open were June and July born calves that had been weaned just 40 days before the show!
Our friends and partners the Wolken’s also had a fantastic show bringing home the National Grand Champion Title with Polar Princess Wolken Ann Odom Show Biotics
