McCormick Stables has an immediate opening for a part-time stable-hand. Enjoy a pleasurable work environment in a beautiful setting at a top-notch equestrian facility. Primarily weekends and late-afternoon weekdays. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities include:
✅ Turning horses out; bringing horses in
✅ Feeding hay, grain, and supplements
✅ Cleaning stalls
✅ Assist in keeping stables tidy and organized via sweeping, raking, and daily sanitization
✅ More opportunities possible based on performance!
⭐️Horse-handling experience preferred, but not necessary⭐️

🌟 Roo the Day and Josie earned top ribbons in Long Stirrup, including a Reserve Champion in the Eq on Sunday!

🌟 Northern Downpour and Zoey made their horse show debut, earning great ribbons in the Long Stirrup divisions.

🌟 Sorcerer’s Kid and Elyn laid down some great trips in a big Low Childrens division and grabbed a 5th under saddle.

Brave Horse II recap 🙌
A very rainy, but great start to our Summer show schedule!

✨Posh Mark was Champion in the USHJA 2’ with Anne and got some great ribbons in the Short Stirrup with Preslie.

✨Pepperdust and Rowan were Champion in the X-Rail Equitation and Reserve Champion in the X-Rail hunters.

✨The Keys Cookie Dough got top placings with Anne in the USHJA 2’ and made her Children’s Pony debut with Preslie, winning a class and good ribbons overall.

✨I Said So and Farrah moved up to the Short Stirrup and won a class, plus grabbed some great ribbons in the rest of her classes!

✨Donatello earned great ribbons in the USHJA 2’3 with Beth. Megan grabbed some top ribbons in the Pre-Adult hunters.

Back home from a very busy week providing horses for the 2026 IEA National Horse Show in Lake St Louis!

Frank, Cruz, and Scout all helped their riders to become National Champions 🏆

Those three plus Donny, Goldfish, and KC also helped their riders to top 8 finishes, including some Z11 R1 riders!

So many great moments…makes it well worth the work (and long drive 😮‍💨). The coaches and riders are always so grateful, and the IEA staff are so amazing to work with! Looking forward to Tryon for the IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association 25th Anniversary 😁🙌
