The Heaneys are such an amazing family, and Todd and Amy are so skilled. Yall, I saw a bathroom vanity that she refurbished....BEAUTIFUL! If anyone has any projects around the house that need done, call them ASAP!
Hi there, we are The Heaneys! We also happen to be pretty handy. 🤓
We have some new followers lately so I wanted to use the opportunity to let you know who we are.
Up front in this photo is Todd. He’s your main handyman. He lifts the heavy stuff, climbs onto the sketchy ladders, crawls into the cobwebbed places, takes one look at something that seems impossible and instantly creates a plan, chats with you about the vintage car you have parked out front, pets all of your animals & brings up Star Wars at any opportunity. Chances are high that if you hire us, you’ll be working directly with him. And other than the fact that he is a former Marine, he’s pretty easy to work with. 😆
Also up front in the photo is Amy. Me. 🙂 I’m who you speak to when you call our phone, I answer your emails, I create your estimates, and on the rare occasions I find someone crazy enough to be willing to watch all five of our kids (thanks, mom and dad!), I’m a handy-ma’am. I love when I get those opportunities to be hands-on at your house. I really enjoy the work. And frankly it makes me feel really cool and dare I say, bad-ass. Which is not a common feeling for me. 🙃 But with homeschooling and schedules and life, I don’t get to meet as many of you in person as I wish I could.
Second row on the right is our oldest, Katelynn. When she’s not busy performing on stage at Lake Whitney Arts, she’s usually listening to music in her room while doing acrylic paintings or nail art. Once in a while we drag her out of her teenager cave to help Todd when he needs a second set of hands. She’s too cool to WANT to go to work with Dad but understands the value of earning a dollar when it comes to wanting to save up for a car. 🤪
Middle is Sawyer. When his PS4 controller dies or his friends are at school, he will often ask to tag along with Todd. It might be mostly because dad likes to buy snacks. You might notice him watching butterflies in your front yard while Todd is thinking he’s off grabbing him a tool. Don’t worry, we don’t charge for his labor. 🤣
Middle left in the photo is Juliette, our youngest. She’s usually strapped onto me when I come for an estimate. She hates being in the car. And I’m not exaggerating. 😵💫 But otherwise, she’s literally the most awesome baby ever. 🥰 The type of baby that would make you want a million more babies if it weren’t for….
….The twins. Back row hosts 3.5 year old twins. Maxwell and Desmond. Wild. Wonderful. Exhausting. 🫠 They can often be heard in the distance when you are on the phone with me. Despite the fact that I run and hide when I answer your phone calls, they find me. Always. And the cue for them needing a snack or a butt wipe is when I say “Hi this is Amy with The Handy Heaneys.” 😐
So. The seven Heaneys. We love what we do. We are weird but we’re a GOOD weird. I think? We strive to make you feel heard, safe, respected, comfortable, taken care of and we appreciate each and every one of you that gives us a chance to help fix or fix-up your home. Anyways, that’s us. 🤗
