Cloudy well water is a common issue many homeowners experience; it can be frustrating when clear water suddenly becomes hazy, white, or discolored. While cloudy water is not always a sign of a serious problem, it often indicates changes in your well system, water quality, or plumbing.

This customer was experiencing issues with contaminated and discolored water. After exposing the buried well, we discovered the well pit was full of contaminated ground water—creating a clear source of concern.

To correct the issue and bring the well up to current code, we installed a Baker coupling, pitless adapter, 4-foot section of 6-inch steel casing, and a watertight well cap. This eliminated the buried well pit and helped protect the well from surface and ground-water contamination.

The well pit is now properly filled with sand and screened topsoil, leaving the property with a safer, cleaner, and code-compliant well setup.

Another well problem solved from the source! 💧🔧

Your well water can tell you a lot about what’s happening with your system. 💧

Low pressure, cloudy water, unusual tastes or odors, and sediment can all be signs that something needs attention. Catching a problem early can help prevent a bigger—and more expensive—repair down the road.

Not all well pumps are created equal. đź’§

The right pump depends on your well's depth, your home's water needs, and your overall system.

Choosing the wrong one can lead to poor water pressure, higher energy costs, and expensive repairs.

Your water should work for you, not against your plumbing. An inline water filter can help reduce sediment, protect your well system, and improve your home’s water quality.

Not sure if you need one? Our latest blog explains the signs to look for and when an inline filter is a smart investment. Read more below! 👇

Every household needs clean and safe drinking water. Although tap water is treated prior to reaching homes, it may still have impurities like sediment, chlorine, rust and other contaminants that influence its taste, smell and quality.

🚨 44 Years of Service… Until It Couldn’t Go Any Longer.

This homeowner in North Granby was dealing with a well pump that kept tripping the breaker. After diagnosing the issue, we found the original 1982 submersible pump was drawing excessive amperage and had reached the end of its life.

We pulled the old pump from the well and installed:
âś… New 1/2 HP Pentair stainless steel submersible pump
âś… New fittings
âś… New cable
âś… Tested the system to ensure everything was operating properly

A reliable well system starts with a healthy pump. If your water is cutting out, your breaker keeps tripping, or your pump is showing its age, it’s better to address the problem before you’re left without water.

📍 Another happy customer in North Granby, CT.
