Anybody else make there own mustard?

Experimenting with making homemade mustard. After mixing it should sit for a few days at room temp. Also no need to refrigerate ever. The purplish powder in the mason jar is my homemade onion powder(dehydrated, sweet onion, and red onion).
If you like spicy mustard no need to let it sit for a few days. I honestly didn't measure anything Lol. Just use equal parts water and vinegar or 2:1water/vinegar it all depends on the person how much of each you use. It will look liquidy at first. But the mustard seed soaks up about seven times its size of liquid so it won’t be so , mines already getting thicker and it’s only been maybe five minutes I’m also making a very small amount in case we don’t like it and then I’ll switch it up in a few days.

Mr. Heckle is starting to get his colors. I’ve noticed he can make them brighter or darn near disappear. We are first time turkey owners. The two we have are heritage breeds but not sure which one.

Thistledown velvet ant. I thought they only came in red, but nope they come in white also. They look a lot like the Creosote bush fruit(seed pods). I added a photo (1st photo) of one next to a creosote, not my photo.
So they aren't ants at all. These are wasps to be exact they are female wingless wasps same as the red ones. The males look like regular wasps. These do sting and sting multiple times just like any other wasps. The thistledown has a sting rated at 2 which is apparently the same pain from and regular wasp. These lay larvae in ground wasp holes. When the larva hatches it eats the other wasp larva and all the pollen and food in the hole then emerge. You can find these thistledown velvet ants and the other velvet ants in abundance out here in the desert and other southern states and Mexico. The first 3 photos are the ones Jason took. The last is one off Google. There are a few articles online about the Thistledown velvet ant if you want further information.

Just received some azolla starts and duckweed starts. The chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits and goats can eat both. But it's best to dry it for everyone but the ducks. I'm hoping we can successfully grow some out here in the desert of Arizona.
