Something special is coming to Morning Sun Vineyard… 🍂

For the first time, this upcoming event will run across both Friday 19th & Saturday 20th June, giving everyone a few more chances to join us around the table.

Great wines are already lined up… but the real question is: where is Chef Bernard going to take us this time? 👨🏻‍🍳🍷

A blend led by our Alpaca Vineyard, this Pinot Noir has spent 9 months in barrel with 15% new oak. The result? A beautiful lift of cinnamon spice, layered with earthy, meaty notes on the nose.

On the palate, it’s intense yet balanced, with great depth and a long, satisfying finish.

We’ve got our Viognier open and ready to taste — and that’s reason enough.

You might already know we’ve long used a touch of Viognier in our Shiraz, a classic Northern Rhône technique bringing aromatic lift and softness to the palate. It’s a perfect match for our medium-bodied style.

More recently, we’ve been lucky to work with exceptional fruit from Bluegrass Vineyard in Merricks North, allowing us to craft a Viognier on its own.

Think ripe apricot and peach 🍑, subtle nuttiness, and delicate quince notes — a beautifully textured white that’s really coming into its own with this latest release.

If you’ve been meaning to revisit it, now’s your moment.

For our next Chef Series lunch, chef Bernard McCarthy is bringing the heat with Peninsula-raised meats. Think slow-cooked Tuerong lamb skewers, bold flavours, and proper rock ‘n’ roll energy.

Not just for carnivores… we’re mixing in fresh Port Phillip Bay seafood 🌊 and finishing strong with a rebellious twist on tiramisu.
