Stephanie is the CEO and co-founder of InWater Technologies, a Canadian company focused on helping aquaculture teams better monitor and manage water quality.

With a background in marine science and more than 15 years of experience in oceanographic research and aquaculture, Stephanie has spent a lot of time working alongside fish farmers and seeing the real-world challenges they face on the farm.

She’ll be at Aquaculture Europe this September, connecting with producers from across Europe, sharing ideas, and talking about what InWater has learned from working with commercial aquaculture operations across North America.

🐟 Fish transports can be stressful for both the fish and the drivers 🚚

Our fish transportation solutions include oxygen monitoring systems that automatically adjust the dissolved oxygen levels as needed, helping maintain optimal conditions for the duration of the transport.

A time-series of DO levels is displayed on a tablet, giving drivers greater visibility into changing water conditions, and peace-of-mind throughout the transport.

In this video, watch as fish are efficiently transferred through the tube and into water-filled transport trucks, while DO is continuously monitored and automatically adjusted to support fish health and welfare during transit.

This InWater UpWeller is hosting Caprellidae (skeleton shrimp), a common example of marine biofouling. Notice how the surfaces are fouled, but the air nozzles stay clear thanks to continuous airflow.
