We sent off our beautiful 932 cow a few weeks ago; that was a hard one. Two years of no calf, so we couldn't risk another year. Usually we burger cows, but this one was huge (2400 lbs liveweight) and FAT and fairly young. Tonight we are trialing one of her steaks to help us decide how to go about butchering.

The verdict is in... she's definately more than hamburger! Delicious!
