Haumea Farm Local small scale regenerative vegetable farm. We are a local vegetable farm in North Courtenay, BC, Canada.

We are a passionate about small scale regenerative agriculture and aim to provide our community with delicious and nutritious locally grown goodness. We use organic growing techniques and do our best to work with nature using basic permaculture growing principles. We are building animal systems to complement our farm and to help manage any pest issues in lieu of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers. We love growing food and can't wait to share what we've grown with those around us!

A few minor things need attention today leading to a later departure up to CR, folks your orders are coming! North Campbell River and west near Willis road it may be dark so if you see someone coming up with a head lamp - don’t panic the veg is (pretty much) organic haha! Hoping to be done by 830!

Another week of awesome farm sales, thank you everyone. This time of year it is common we run out of certain produce and eggs. So apologies to anyone who has missed out. Please reach out if you’d like and we’ll prioritize you for next week!

As we move into fall time, we’ll be shifting our subscriptions from weekly to bi-weekly in a few weeks time. All current subscriptions will be canceled and we’ll start the round of fall/winter boxes. Please let us know below, via DM or shoot us an email [email protected] if you’d like to continue onto the fall/winter program or to sign up. We haven’t finalized the boxes yet but likely $35-$50 range.

We’ll have:
Spinach
Lettuce mix
Carrots
Winter radish
Squash
Onions
Potatoes
Chard
Asian greens
Kale
Cilantro
Dill
Kohl Rabi
Beets
Leeks

We will rotate though a few list a bit so each box will have some of the above items. Herbs like dill and cilantro will be available sometimes. Eggs are limited in the winter months so we tend to prioritize eggs as an addition to boxes. Deliveries will be on Wednesdays.

Some favourites!!! Red Tabby spinach and fresh baby ginger! One bag of ginger is 3lbs and the smaller one is 1/2lb for reference! Please note the spinach is not yellow! It’s just in the sunlight. It’s a beautiful dark green colour!!!
