While we’re looking at a rainy day and thinking about staying inside, our Indian Runner ducks are out there having a great time.

The wet grass, the puddles. It gives them new places to find bugs and worms to forage for their breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They run around quacking and making LOTS of noise on the farm as they are in an especially good mood when it rains.

This year’s tomato crop is finally ripening giving us plenty to eat and preserve. With the wet weather it’s been a bit of a struggle against the blight and pests that have been unusually high in comparison to previous years.
