Our very first harvest of carrots was this week and they are everything you would want in a farm fresh carrot... Sweet, crunchy, juicy - and juuuust the right amount of dirt 😜

🌻 our sunflowers are VERY happy and abundant, so come by to pick up a bunch or some stems! A beautiful and simple way to add a little sunshine into your day.

Today we're celebrating Terri's eight year "Workaversary" here at Springford Farm. She holds the longest tenure on our crew, having supported our farm and market through many stages of growth and change, playing an instrumental role on our market and grading team for most of the last decade.

She has always shown up with a rock solid work ethic and a smile on her face. She is known around here as the Cookie Queen - dutifully baking her SIGNATURE giant chocolate chip cookies for every single staff birthday and milestone moment. She's also known for her stunning floral arrangements which she tends to in her own backyard here in Nanoose, as well as her lovely cards on our card rack, featuring a variety of beautiful moments she's captured from all across the region.

We are so grateful for her commitment to our farm, local food and agriculture, and bringing beauty to our market with her creativity all year round.

Terri - thank you for sticking with us across the last eight years. We are so grateful for your presence on our team!❤️
