Hey Everyone. Unfortunately, I need to put a reminder out there that our self serve farm stand is not a "pay what you can, if you can" operation. The posted prices are the required payment. I really want to keep this honour system up and running for the convenience of all my amazing regular customers that drop by and support the farm.

At long last! Willow Row Farm pasture raised chicken is finally back in stock for the first time in 2026. It's been quite a wait! If you are on the reservation list, I will be in touch to arrange pick up for this evening or tomorrow. There's still lots of space on the July and August list if you want to get in on our local chicken. Happy birds, raised in the fresh air and sunshine, right here in Parksville.

The flock has moved home to the front pasture, where they are diligently getting down to the business of grazing. Intense periods of grazing, followed by long periods of rest, allows our pastures to be highly productive. We do get asked alot though, "where are the sheep?". They are never in the same place for very long!

That massive chicken egg I posted about yesterday? It had an exceptionally rare surprise inside. In fact, it's a one in 25 million surprise! A triple yolker! Not sure I can guarantee I'll come across one again any time soon, but such a cool find. And don't worry, my poor little hen that laid this egg is fine and healthy. Have you ever seen a triple yolk chicken egg?

Ok, Farm Friends... one of these eggs is a goose egg, and one is a chicken egg. 😲 Can you even tell which is which???
