The Beetbox Farmers Market is happening this Sunday, Aug 30 with new vendors! And - best of all - its happening alongside Willow's Flowers u_Pick! Can you imagine a wander through the flower fields, picking your own bouquet followed by shopping at the market? We've got gorgeous produce grown just a field over, honey, glassware, crocheted creatures, felted animals, gift cards and a sweet little nature playground for the littles.

Get ready for a day of fresh air, hands-on fun, and garlic galore! We're thrilled to invite you to this year's Ottawa Garlic Harvest Festival, a celebration of farming, food, and community.

Last year was a great success, thanks to everyone who came out and had a good time.

After a warm welcome and intro to Ottawa Garlic, we're diving into a harvesting contest where you could win a share of $450 in farmer's market credits! We'll have music, delicious food, and plenty of good vibes.

Oh, and it goes without saying, but you're taking home some garlic for helping your local organic farmers on their mission for a sustainable, healthy, and 🧄delicious🧄 future 🙂

It's a chance to enjoy the great outdoors, reconnect with the land, and revel in the simple joys of sunshine, fresh air, community. Whether you're a seasoned farmhand or a first-time visitor, this is a day you won't want to miss!

Schedule:
🕗 7am – Arrival & Welcome (yes, you can come late, but remember the earlier you come the cooler it is!)
🧄 7:30am – Garlic Harvest Begins
🌾 11:30am – Break! Go to the river, regulate some temp and make it back in time for:
🎉 12pm – Garlic Bunching contest!
1:00 PMPrizes Awarded & Grill Time

Last year we actually finished the harvest early, can we make it a guiness world record harvest this year!? I believe in us!

Can't Make It Saturday?
No worries, Stop by on Sunday (before 1pm) for a more relaxed vibe. Garlic harvesting will still be going strong, and it's a great chance to meet the farmers, walk the fields, and see where your food comes from.

While you're at the farm, come check out the Ottawa Organic Farm Store up at the barns, where you can pick up some delicious veg straight from your hard working farmers. They're open 10:00-2:00.
