Here we have spinach, strawberries, cucumber, red onion and maple roasted pecans made by yours truly and sold at The Nutcracker Market and Shin’s Convenience in townsite.

Cooking for one. Some of us are alone too much; some of us are rarely alone. Today I took a little delight in making my weird ass pizza 🍕 Not caring what it looked like or if anyone else would like it. It is loaded with roasted garlic and artichokes.

Change can be a good thing! Did you know Kitchen Party Foods used to be called Alice’s Fresh Pasta? The new name reflects my desire to get back to having FUN in my kitchen and as a business owner. There is new opportunity for variety and custom orders. On a regular basis the roasted nuts and lemonade are available at The Nutcracker Market. Fresh pasta is available by special order with one week’s notice (minimum quantities apply). We have sold the rights to Alice’s Fresh Pasta’s Mac n Cheese, Spaghetti and Meatballs and Homestyle sauce to Shin’s Convenience.

Quinoa Cauliflower Salad
Meal prep does not happen every week! But it’s a nice gift to yourself when possible 🌞
3 cups cooked quinoa (cooked in chicken stock)
1 1/2 cups diced cauliflower
1/2 red onion diced
2/3 cup cubed medium tofu
1/2 cup raisins or dried currents
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup apple juice
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp curry powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
