Remember the post a few weeks back about Penelope? She is finally out of her quarantine stall, and meeting all her new friends this weekend.
Penelope had a long journey from Alberta, so to ensure her health, and the health of our whole farm, she had to be kept in quarantine for a few weeks. The vet has given her a clean bill of health…so the introductions can begin 🥰
(Everyone else was much more interested in the whole thing than she was. She was happy with the green pasture and a field to roam)

The donkeys are enjoying this wonderful morning! They are in the front field waiting for you to come say hello, while picking up a dozen eggs, and maybe a bag of aged chicken manure for your garden!

Exciting spring days on the farm! Little Mae is growing fast and racing around the farm. We have a wonderful home chosen for her when she’s ready, but to avoid her being alone, her new owners have already found her a friend!
Penelope is staying at Jolly Acres to bond with Mae and make both of their transitions to their new home this summer even smoother!

Long weekends are always great to get the garden started. So we have the farmstand stocked up with aged chicken manure, which is fantastic for all your gardening needs. While you are here grab some eggs and if you’re lucky, you might just find a coloured egg or two in your dozen, laid by our heritage Easter egg chickens!

Also …… the donkeys are all in the front field waiting to welcome you with some friendly honking .
