Spring is in the house, so it’s time for the return of FRIDAY ROUNDS 🤓

Come see what’s happening on the farm this week! Spoiler: it’s iris heavy.

Please comment so I know we’re not alone in the universe- How does your garden grow? Do you like spring flowers? Have you smelled lilacs this week?

Bye!!

I walked the farm this morning and was reminded, for all my planning, the land has its own timeline. (It usually does.)

It’s finally May, and we’re looking forward to so much beauty this year-so much light and connection. But right now, the farm is draped in this soft, glowy green that feels like a deep breath.

It’s tempting to want to skip ahead to the peonies and dahlias, but there’s something holy about the waiting. So we’ll stay right here in the quiet, tucked between the soil and the sky.

We’re back, baby!

Slinging blooms all month long, you can find us (and your favourite flowers) - every Sunday in May.

Science has proven being outdoors, talking to people in your community, and supporting small local businesses increases your lifespan. Do all 3 in one morning and live to 1000!

☀️☀️☀️ see you soon, friends!!

Happy Earth Day, homies!

The earth gave us yet another gift today- The daffodils have started unfurling.

This variety is British Gamble🥇- always one of the first to bloom for us.

Forever humbled and in great reverence for our home 🌎✌️

The first tulips of the season are here, and they’re anything but ordinary.

Akebono is a ruffled, painterly tulip in soft yellow with warm red feathering - one of those blooms that makes you stop mid-step at the kitchen counter.

These are not grocery store tulips.

They’re grown slowly and seasonally, right here in Uxbridge, without the long shipping chains, heavy handling, and generic sameness that come with mass-market flowers.

They’re fresher, more characterful, and honestly, far more moving.

This is what I love about local flowers: they feel alive in a different way. More nuance, personality, and soul.

The very first tulips of spring always feel emotional to me.. A reminder that beauty is essential to our hearts and winter doesn’t get the last word.

Limited bouquets available now.

This is what late May looks like on our farm.

Buckets and buckets of ranunculus in every shade of blush and berry and cream - petals so papery and layered they look like they were folded by hand.

We’re not there yet, but we’re close.

If you’ve been quietly wanting to try growing ranunculus in your own garden, I have a handful of potted ranunculus left in the shop right now - healthy, rooted, ready to plant. Three plants for $30.

From our gardens to yours.

Pick them up this weekend at in Uxbridge, tuck them into your soil, and watch them unfurl into something that genuinely stops you mid-step.

We have four left ➡️ Link in bio.

Ranunculus season is coming - May and June are about to be absolutely ridiculous around here! Stay close 🫶

It starts with the smell.

Before you even see them, hyacinths announce themselves - sweet and heady and a little overwhelming in the best possible way. The kind of scent that stops you mid-step.

We cut these this week, and honestly, standing in the field with armfuls of them felt like the first real exhale of spring.

We have a small number of bundles available this Easter - the kind of thing you put in a jug on the kitchen table and then just… keep walking past slowly, on purpose.

They’re in the shop now (link in bio). No rush language here, just a quiet heads up that they won’t last long, because nothing this good ever does.

Wishing you a beautiful, slow, flower-filled Easter weekend. 🐣
