WILD BLUEBERRIES THIS WEEKEND! This may just be the last delivery so get that extra basket or two into the freezer! $40/3L bskt. Get 'em while you can!! Open Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm. 🫐

We also have a couple gorgeous bouquets still from our country neighbour, ! Blueberries AND flowers? What a way to perk up a bit of a dreary Saturday!💐

To freeze wild blueberries:

Option #1: Stick the whole bskt in the freezer overnight. Squeeze/knock it gently to loosen the frozen berries. Pour into freezer bags or containers.

Option #2: Pour directly into freezer bags or containers, remove the air as best you can.

It's THAT easy!🫐❤️

It's peak Raspberry Season! Pick Your Own ONLY. www.belluzfarms.on.ca to learn how to book your spot. Lots of other FAQs answered there too (including all the Fresh Picked Farm Veggies in our Farm Store this time of year).

How to feeeze raspberries:
👩‍🌾Gently pick through or REALLY gently rinse your berries (I tend to skip this step). If you rinse them, spread them out on some paper towel or a clean (dark) dish towel to dry a bit.

👩‍🌾Line baking sheets with parchment paper and spread your berries out in a single layer. Place the whole baking sheet in your freezer.

👩‍🌾After a few hours or overnight, transfer your frozen berries to any freezer container or bag you like. Label with this year's date.

👩‍🌾Enjoy all winter long in smoothies, sprinkled over oatmeal, yogurt or use in muffins, cakes, pavlova - the options are endless!

One of our favorite family traditions is visiting Belluz Farms every year in July. 🍓

We're so grateful to be able to pick fresh strawberries, explore everything the farm has to offer, and make memories together. It's a reminder of the hard work and care that goes into growing the food we enjoy.
