We are your specialists in urban beekeeping and honey bee hive removal in the Greater Toronto Area. Toronto Bee Rescue provides three main services:
1.

Honey Bee Hive Swarm Removal
We will pickup honey bee swarms free of charge from within the GTA, if they are accessible
2. Established Honey Bee Hive Removal
We are your GTA specialists in removing honey bee hives from structures such as floors, walls, attics, etc. We will examine the hive and provide a free estimate to remove the bees in a humane manner. We will remove all the bees, wax,

and honey and ensure another colony of bees does not return to the same location.
3. Urban Bee Keeping
The GTA is a great place to keep honey bees. We are always looking for locations to place honey bees within the City. If you would like to host a hive on your property, please contact us.

Tamarack trees are one of the few coniferous trees that lose their needles every fall.
This yard always gets a beautiful showering of orange needles.

And just like that, the snow is here. ❄️🐝
When we wrapped the hives today, we noticed little circles of melted snow on top, a sure sign the bees are alive and keeping warm inside. Their clusters are generating enough heat to melt the snow above them. We’ve added extra insulation now so they’ll stay comfortable and protected all winter long. 💛🍯

One of our yards in Caledon recently got a not-so-friendly visit from a bear 🐻 lots of damage was done to our hives.
So here's a reminder to make sure your electric fences are up and running !!!!
