popcorn, liquorice, orange pomander, cherry cola
Palate: cloves, raisin, fig, dates, ginger, apple crumble and

Don’t sleep on this one. It’s a belter.

First up is an 18 year old Glen Moray fully matured in a refill bourbon barrel. One of Rachel’s favourites from this release.

Nose: green apples, beeswax, mashed bananas, vanilla and coconut
Palate: pear drops, bubblegum, butterscotch, mint humbugs, spiced apple, rum & raisin ice cream
Finish: treacle, lemon peel, orange blossom, baking spices

The illustration is in reference to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, which was written the same year as Glen Moray distillery was built; 1897.

Wow! The Glen Garioch that we have bottled up for Diggers is absolutely sublime. Think waxy, buttery, lemony heaven! Lemon meringue pie in a glass. Kev and Claire are selling it for £6 by the dram or £60 for the bottle which is incredibly generous of them! Available at both Diggers and Diggers Leith.

LAST BUT BY NO MEANS LEAST! This is our White Peak, Peak Strength, bottling. It is wonderful, how the strength has amped up different notes in this.

We are sold out pre release of this, as there were only 72 bottles released at this strength.

The pair of illustrations are of the same point at the distillery. One is a recent view, and one was back when the site of the distillery was a wire-working factory.

Nose: caramel, apples, campfire, jerky, tinned fish, frazzles, blueberry, blackberry
Palate: cherry menthol, bubblegum, spearmint
Finish: herbaceous, peppermint oil, dried strawberries, salted peanuts, umami, ashy peattiness

The last two bottles of our release are from the same cask. Everything we have tried from White Peak distillery has been utterly stellar. We went to see them last year and picked a juicy red wine STR barrique.

This is the only FD we've ever cut down (from 68.9% to 55.0%) and we have only just noticed that it reads undiluted. D'oh!!! Our text is so small we can't even read it seems! An honest mistake.

Nose: cherries, ice cream wafers, salted peanut skins, cola cubes, beeswax, candy floss, light peatsmoke, blackberry, charred oak, strawberry laces
Palate: Oily! sarsaparilla, white pepper, cherry menthol, burnt apple and salted butter
Finish: Juicy Fruit chewing gum, malt biscuits, nut, wood tannins, baking spices, salted caramel, liquorice

It wouldn't be a Fragrant Drops release without an older grain and here we have it; a 31 year old Strathclyde. Just quintessential refill-bourbon-old-grain-loveliness. This is Rachel's favourite artwork for this release. The spirit was bottled on the 11th of November, Remembrance Day, and the beautiful poppies are an ode to that.

Nose: almonds, buttery pastries, orange blossom, candy floss, vanilla, biscuit,
Palate: toasted oak, sour apple sweeties, Soreen, oat cake, tablet, candied almonds, custard slice
Finish: walnuts, peppermint creams, ginger, treacle, liquorice
