Autumn is on the way… atemperatures drop, don’t let a burst pipe catch you out.

Check your pipework, insulate exposed pipes and make sure you know where your stopcock is.

A little preparation now can prevent a big problem later.

It might seem like a small item, but cotton buds can cause some big problems when they end up down a sink.

Our team recently attended a blocked sink and, once again, the culprit was a build-up of cotton buds and other debris. These items don’t break down easily and can quickly collect inside pipework, restricting water flow and eventually causing a complete blockage.

A simple reminder: cotton buds belong in the bin, not down the sink!

Our engineers are always ready to tackle those unexpected plumbing and drainage problems and get things flowing again.

Another call out completed by the Enviro-Tec SW team at St Sidwell’s Point following an issue with blocked urinals.

Our engineers attended site, identified the blockage and got to work clearing the issue to get the facilities back up and running as quickly as possible.

Blocked urinals can quickly become a bigger problem if left untreated, causing unpleasant odours, poor hygiene and potential damage to surrounding areas.

Thankfully, our team was on hand to get things flowing again!

Another successful mains water leak repair completed by the Enviro-Tec SW team!

Our engineers recently attended site to investigate a suspected mains water leak. After carrying out a thorough investigation, the team carefully excavated the affected area, located the damaged section of the main, and completed the repair efficiently to minimise disruption.
