DURVA, HOGY ENNEK IS TEGNAP VOLT PONTOSAN 7 ÉVE 🎆🎆🎆 CRAZY THIS WAS EXACTLY 7 YEARS AGO
A BLACKCURRANT TRIFLE imperial pastry sour-ünk lett a BrewDog 2019-es Collabfest győztese, több, mint 70 sört maga mögé utasítva. A sör persze nem verseny, de sokan drukkoltatok nekünk, sokan akkor ismertek meg minket, nekünk pedig jól esett a támogatás, meg az elismerés és a híres-hírhedt AGM meghívás. Aztán jött a covid, ami nem csak tőlünk, de mindenkitől elvett valamit, hogy azóta is hullámvasúton érezhessük magunkat minden szinten, sokszor fent, sokszor lent, de sose felejtjük el ezt az izgalmas időszakot, meg ahogy tartjuk a kezünkben az egyik kedvenc Mad Scientist sört, az azóta már bezárt BrewDog Budapestben. Palack nem készült hivatalosan (ugye akkor még csak álmodoztunk a dobozolóról), mert annyira habzott, hogy lehetetlen volt bármit is kezdeni vele, így minden hordóba ment, és aztán bármilyen verziók is születtek, akár általunk, akár mondjuk a BrewDog USA által, valahogy sosem sikerült ezt a pillanatot újraélni. Persze szeretünk a jelenben lenni, de ez egy nagyon kedves emlékünk!
BLACKCURRANT TRIFLE imperial pastry sour won BrewDog’s 2019 Collabfest, beating out more than 70 other b**rs. Of course, b**r isn’t a competition, but many of you rooted for us, many of you got to know us for the first time then and we really appreciated the support, the recognition, and the invitation to the infamous Punk AGM. Then came COVID, which took away many things not just from us, but from everyone, leaving us on a roller coaster ever since, often up, often down, but we’ll never forget this exciting period, nor the feeling of holding one of our favorite Mad Scientist b**rs in our hands at BrewDog Budapest, which has since closed too. It wasn’t officially bottled (back then we were still just dreaming about a canning line), because it was foaming so much that it was impossible to do anything with it, so it all went into kegs, and no matter what versions were created later on, whether by us or, for example by BrewDog USA, somehow we’ve never managed feel so hyped as we did by then. Of course, we love living in the present, but this is a memory we hold dear!
