I have made the tough decision to part with (most, if not all) my dairy ewes. They are the sweetest, most friendly sheep, and they make adorable lambs amd they are great mothers but they are not fulfilling their purpose here and they do not fit into our current sheep operation. They do not produce the dairy they are intended for and eat too much to keep around and they are more prone to parasites.
I have:
x2- 2 year old east friesian ewes, both lambed in March (lambs are sold)
x1- 5 year old EF ewe (I want to keep her, but to the right place I am willing to entertain it) and her 2 month old ram lamb (ef/katahdin). He is huge and will be kept for meat if not sold.
X1- 3 year old EF/katahdin ewe, she sheds and is a nice big girl, great mom, but has issues with parasites and I cannot continue treating her. And her ram lamb is also available.
I also have ram lambs available. Katahdin, dorper and cross. Born jan-April.
I would love for the ewes to go all together and will make a deal on the group. Do with them what you want. Will likely go to auction if not gone.
Message me here or Kali Barnaby for more information.
