We worked on the big chicken pen project over the weekend and got it almost finished! The goats had a big helping hoof in the project.

The courtnix quail are doing great! So they got upgraded to the big outdoor brooder box until they are ready to go into the quail pens.

These guys are officially 8 weeks old today. We got them separated from their momma today! We have 4 girls and 1 boy I believe.

Second picking out of the garden!!! We got some golden zucchini, squash, and some cucumbers!!

The garden is looking great!! We got our first picking of squash and golden zucchini so far. They are little but hopefully with all this rain we will get some better pickings.

Even tho it has been raining like crazy today the quail chicks still needed a clean pen. They get their brood box cleaned every 3 days, but It does not take long for these 80 quail chicks to get it filthy again. A little before and after pictures.
And yes after the pictures was takin their food and waterers was put back in and the lid was put on.

Our young barred rock hens laid their first egg!!

Got the new water system put in for the rabbits, that way they have fresh water all day long. With this system we don't have to worry about anyone running out of water on these hot summer days!
