Our last steer of the year went to Dorecks this morning. You were a good boy Cornelious. You were dad’s favourite and I know he’ll miss you! Say hi to all of our other boys that have gone before you. We loved you as well as we could. Rest easy big guy

First two batches of tallow are ready!! I love how pure white it is!! For those of you wondering what to use beef tallow for it’s used in the making of soap, can be used as make up remover, and is a healthier option to the oils and sprays we use in cooking. These jars are 300 mls approx ten ounces. They are $8.00 a jar. Get with us before they’re all gone :)

Phew. Meats in the freezer but it needs to be sorted then I’ll be able to pull the orders. Plan is to pull what I can til I run out of cuts tomorrow. Hopefully you’ll get a message saying your order is ready soon 🙂. If not tomorrow do not fear. We have a whole calf coming back the end of next week or beginning of the following week so your orders WILL be filled!! Thank you everyone for your patience :)

We have a few cuts in the freezer that I’d like to try to clear before the fresh meat comes in. We have available
short ribs $3.00 per pound.
Soup bones $3.00 per pound.
Liver $1.50 per pound.
Heart $2.50 per pound
Beef fat $2.50 per pound

If you’re interested in any of these cuts please get with us asap. These low prices won’t last long!!

Our last calf of the 2026 calving season arrived a little early but seems to be a good size and healthy. Again think the hot weather plays a big part in the cows calving early. Little heifer to finish out the year :)
