Hi everyone! We are sorry to say that due to unforeseen circumstances, the pumpkin patch will not be open to the public this year. Thank you for all the support and fun last year.

With that being said, if there is sufficient support, we would like to open for private reservations. This is anything such as birthday parties, corporate events, family gatherings, etc.

We will be offering pumpkins, hayrides, pumpkin bowling, a hay maze, and serval different activities. Please reach out to us for more information or any questions you have! And for those interested in booking the ranch, please visit our website and fill out the contact form. Thank you!

Save the Date for the Flavors of Summer Dinner at Tar Creek Ranch in Arroyo Grande on August 25, 2022 from 6:00-9:00pm!

Join us as we celebrate the beautiful colors and flavors of the summer season with an unforgettable dinner experience at Tar Creek Ranch , a 95 acre farm in rural Arroyo Grande, CA.

Chef Will Torres (previously of Farmhouse Corner Market) will be curating a beautiful summer inspired menu incorporating local ingredients and flavors of the Central Coast.

We will start the evening outdoors for a welcome glass and passed hors d'oeuvres during our Welcome Reception and will then sit down inside the Tar Creek Barn at our long communal tables for a four course farm-to-table dinner prepared by the talented Chef Will Torres. The evening's menu will be carefully paired with the complex, cool-climate varietals of from Edna Valley.

Curious as to what we’ve been up to at the ranch? We planted our pumpkins a few weeks ago to be ready for our Fall Pumpkin Patch! They’ve begun to form their third true leaf and we can’t wait for them to continue to grow in time for the the fall season! 🎃🌱🍂

Meet Chris Sanchez our Building and Grounds Manager! Chris has been with us for the past four years and has been a tremendous asset to our TCR Team.

Chris would describe TCR as being relaxing, beautiful and peaceful. His favorite memory being the first day the pumpkin patch opened. It was a fun day filled with locals, laughter and excitement!

A fun fact about Chris is that he coached girls softball for eight years and is also a purple belt in Hawaiian Kempo! We love having Chris and are excited to share him with you all!

Meet Christina! She has been working at TCR for the last two years in events.

Christina's favorite memory at TCR was the pumpkin patch we had this past October! It was one of our first public events where we had everyone from all over the county to celebrate fall by picking out their own pumpkins, sunflowers, and playing at the ranch.

A fun fact about Christina is that she is a mother to three beautiful girls and that she "loves to dance. It’s hard to help at events and hear music without busting a move." We love having Christina on our team!

Many of you may recognize Matthew, he is the owner of Tar Creek Ranch! He’s been working at TCR for the past four years and has done an amazing job bringing the ranch to life.

When reflecting on the past few years operating TCR, his favorite memory was “the field trips last year during the pumpkin patch. It was amazing seeing the kids enjoy all the hard work we had done. Everything from Ag education to tractor rides were a hit amongst the kids!”

TCR has been a longtime dream for Matthew, “being able to operate Tar Creek Ranch has been a dream come true for me. I have been fortunate to have such an amazing staff and supportive family. I am very excited about the evolution of TCR and look forward to spreading our name in the community.”
