For a hen, there's nothing quite like a nice dust bath. Believe it or not, it's actually how they keep themselves clean! The dust removes debris and helps to clean their feathers. It's also a great way to cool down on a warm summer day by nestling into the cool soil— like a refreshing dip in the lake.

Each month, we receive an outpouring of notes and messages from our community about how much you enjoy The Vital Times. We couldn’t be more delighted as we truly love it, too.

This lil newspaper has been around 18 years (and counting!) and we love hearing your stories. We heard you really liked the henescope feature so we brought it back in our current issue! Drop your sign in the comments. We’d also love to hear your favorite Vital Times story, issue, or feature while you’re at it 🫶

In case you didn't know, chickens are jungle fowl! In all seriousness, though, while our hens love a sprawling open pasture, they equally enjoy a stroll through the woods, hopping on logs and crunching through brush and vegetation. Drop a 😍 in the comments if Dan has your dream job👇

We think a pretty good proof point for a worthwhile product is if your employees actually use it. Here's one of our community managers, Maddy's, grocery haul this week ☀️

Mind if we pass your comment on to the folks who actually open the pasture up each day? (It matters to them more than you might think.)
