A farmhouse used to stand where I’m standing.

I never met Joel’s grandmother, but I hope she’d be proud.

Proud that the land she used to call home is still being called “home.”

Proud that the land she used to tend to is still being tended.

Proud that these trees she planted are still giving shade.

We don’t know if our kids will one day take over the farm, but we’ll preserve it and tend it to give them a chance, because it’s the same chance someone took on us.

It’s the beginning of the next chapter.

Did we want this freezer project done shortly after our vision? Of course. We saved up to complete this project and two kids have been added to our family since then.

Sometimes business goals and family life collide and bristle, but in this new chapter they’re finally starting to mesh.

I know this picture just looks like a silly, incomplete project of a random doorway. But for us, having inventory on site means more time together, fulfilling orders quicker, and better customer service for you.

None of this would be possible without you and your years of support of our little family farm. Cheers to what entering the next doorway may look like 💚
