Alpine Berry Farm

Alpine Berry Farm We are a small family farm specializing in u-pick naturally raised blueberries. Already picked berries available depending on availability.

We are generally open Fathers Day to Labor Day, although this changes from year to year. Always call (812-212-2605), check our page or check this web site to make sure blueberries are available before making the trip to Batesville. We have been in operation since 1990. We have a restored 100-year-old barn where we sell our blueberries, honey, and other goods. Restrooms, water, picnic tabl

e and chairs (indoor and outdoor) are available for our customers to take a break from picking. It is a perfect family activity and we love to have children come and see how food is grown. Kathy, a registered dietitian, Ted, her husband, and their boys are committed to providing "blueberries at their best!"

Ted and I will be hosting this u-pick. This is a great opportunity to get some fresh produce for fall meals and also stock up with some produce that will store well way past Christmas. This is a fun day for children to see a real working farm. Wear old shoes. Some produce will be already picked and some you get to pick yourself. Call me with any questions: 812-212-2605

Please take time to fill out this survey. Currently around 90% of the food grown in Indiana is exported and about 90% of what we eat is imported. We can each be part of the solution.

Indiana is working on a statewide Food Vision, a roadmap to build a stronger, more nourishing food system for all Hoosiers.
Now we need your input to help shape the final version. Based on community feedback so far, we’ve identified strategies for each goal and we want to know which ones matter most to you.
Take a few minutes to rank them in this short survey by midnight ET on Sunday, Aug. 17:
