Who said we have to have ourselves figured out by now?

I’ve come to realize that my identity isn’t something I’ve simply inherited. It’s something I’ve continued to discover along the way.

Different places, different chapters, different roles. Each one has shaped me, challenged me, and revealed more of who I am.

And here I am, still discovering new things about myself and what I’m capable of.

Identity truly is a journey, not a destination. ❤️

Our Cabin Fever Cooking Series will take us through February, March & April with warm, flavorful South African Indian dishes — and plenty of stories along the way. ❤️

This summer, I launched the Durban Curry Experience. ❤️
I knew what I hoped these evenings could become, but I couldn’t have imagined how beautifully they would be received.
People came for the food, but what meant the most to me was how much they embraced the story and history behind it too.
We gathered around long tables, shared Durban curries and stories, met strangers who became dinner companions, and on those beautiful summer evenings, enjoyed the view from the deck overlooking the water.
Then fall came, and we moved indoors — but the heart of the experience stayed the same.

Food. Storytelling. Culture. Connection.
And this Christmas, we’ll gather around the table again. 🎄❤️
