Who is ready to make Goat Milk Soap?

Join a scheduled class or grab a few friends for Girls Night Out.

It's that time of year, time to start making Cold Process Goat Milk Soap.

I have several classes scheduled you can join, or grab a couple of friends for a private class.

Makes for a great Girls Night Out, Mom and Daughters Day out or even a Couples Date Night.
You are welcome to bring your own food & drink to enjoy after the class in one of the several seating options on the farm.

Each scheduled class is limited to 4 people.
I can accommodate larger private classes if you have a group interested. Contact me for details.

For Sale…Need new home.

I have 2 Heritage Tom Turkeys (3-4 years old)
and 3 Male Muscovy Ducks (2 years old)

They are basically just lawn ornaments.

I considered butchering them, just don’t have the time right now.

Make me an offer for one or all!

Saddened to learn this morning the community chose not to support our local Sumpter Township Police Department

Unfortunately, the police protection millage did not pass, receiving approximately 57% of the votes against it.

As a result, we have lost all millage funding, which has reduced our operating funds by over 40%. As you can imagine, this is devastating to our ability to provide the level of police services that you, our residents, expect and deserve.

In the coming days and weeks, the township Board will determine how to proceed.

Haven’t made pickles in years but I currently have lots of pickles in the garden.

I have pickling spices for sale in the shop, as well as canning jars and lids.

First time ever doing a recipe review!
😂
Even though I cook/bake a lot, I rarely follow recipes as written so it would not be a fair assessment of a recipe if I’ve altered it.

I made Madelyn Rose Craig, Author banana bread recipe Thursday and for the first time, I followed it as written.

It was very very good and I’m thrilled to have 3 loaves.

1 disappeared quickly with friends over Thursday

1/2 of another on the counter to have with coffee in the morning.

I’ll store the others in the fridge to eat the next week.

I’m glad I followed the recipe, will make again

Seems like this year has been slow to get rolling.
Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and squash are finally in full swing
…mid July is just later than previous years.

Funny thing is, this bed I pulled was not what we planted this year, they were holdouts from last season that sprung up on their own!
