🍂🔥 Chilly September nights are calling for good music, warm fires, and a beer in hand!

Bundle up and join us around the fire pit for Desert Wheelhouse! 🎶 This five-piece cover band is made up of musicians who have dedicated the better part of their lives to music, bringing tight harmonies, smooth vocals, and all the songs you love.

From classic rock and country to pop favorites spanning the 1960s through the 2020s, they’ve got the soundtrack to keep you singing, dancing, and warming up by the fire.

Last month was all about the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon! 💙

Throughout August, we hosted Bingo on Mondays, bringing our community together for a little friendly competition while raising more than $1,600 in cash donations to support their programs. 🙌

And as an added bonus, we got to share something we love: disc golf! 🥏

On Tuesday, August 18, six professional disc golfers and coaches from nonprofit Uplay Disc Golf volunteered their time to teach clinics at the Boys & Girls Club of Downtown Bend.

Valarie Doss and Justin Celmer joined professional disc golfers Nate Perkins and Micah Moon Winters, along with Uplay Disc Golf directors Zoe AnDyke and Dustin Keegan, to introduce local kids to the sport through two age-based clinic sessions designed to keep things safe, engaging, and - most importantly - FUN!

The impact:
🥏 82 kids learned and played disc golf
🥏 Every kid left with a disc to take home ( Thanks to Universal Play Disc Golf & ! )
🥏 Bevel donated over 50 discs from their unclaimed Lost & Found program to stay at the club for future disc golf programs!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played Bingo, donated, volunteered, and helped make this past month so special. From raising funds to getting kids active and introducing them to a sport we love, it was a month of community in every sense of the word. ❤️

A huge thank you to the The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon and Uplay Disc Golf for letting us be part of it!

It’s been such a joy partnering with Namaspa_Foundation and hosting outdoor community yoga with the wonderful Jennee as our instructor each week! 🧘‍♀️🌿

As we wrapped up our original 10-class series, we’re so proud to share that our community raised over $750 in donations! Even better, those donations will help cover the cost of 18 Namaspa Foundation classes, helping make yoga accessible to even more people in our community. 💚

And because of this awesome success, we’re doing two more! 🎉 Mark your calendars for September 13 & 27 from 11am–noon and join us on the Bevel patio for another morning of beginner-friendly community yoga with Jennee.

Classes are donation-based, and your donation includes the 1-hour yoga class (supplies provided, or bring your own!) plus a beverage at Bevel after class. 🧘‍♀️🍻

Thank you to everyone who has stretched, sipped, donated, and supported this series. We can’t wait to keep the yoga + beer tradition going! 💚
