Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a vintage camper, and campsites. We also host weddings and other events. We love sharing our beautiful farm and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! HomeGrown HideAways is available for campouts, weddings, reunions, fundraisers, retreats, workshops, and parties. Mission: to welcome visitors from all over the world to gather together in a natural environment w

here they can unplug from devices and reconnect with one another to exchange ideas, knowledge, culture, and food. Vision: to build bridges and smash stereotypes in order to create a global community that values diversity in all its forms. Lodging includes everything from primitive campsites to treehouses, yurts, vintage campers, and more! Group camping is a popular option and lodging is included with our Glamping Package for weddings. We have a stage and large, covered pavilion. The farm's bath house is open from April through October and features 4 flush toilets and 2 solar-heated showers. There is also a solar-powered event facility equipped with a telephone and kitchen appliances that are available for guests to use. When available, we stock the fridge with our farm-fresh eggs and produce. The farm has a steep and rugged 1.5 mile hiking trail, but we’re also just 8 miles from the Berea Pinnacles. If you’re interested in paddling Owsley Fork Reservoir, our friends down the road at Get Outside Ky rent canoes and kayaks. We are only 20 minutes from Berea, the Arts & Crafts Capital of Ky., where you can usually find workshops and demonstrations of all kinds. We do not have tv, internet, or cell reception. There are as many stars as there are bugs so come prepared for both, but we ask that you leave your pets at home. To book your stay, please visit us at www.HomeGrownHideAways.org or message us if you'd like to plan an event.

Off-Grid Group Camping Package -
Available Labor Day Weekend!

Looking for a holiday campsite for up to 20 people? Look no further!

This listing combines our two most secluded sites - the Yome Away from Home (sleeps 6) and our rustic bunkhouse, The Nook (sleeps 10), plus room for a few tents and hammocks.

These neighboring sites have 2 firepits, private outhouse, outdoor sink with city water, access to the creek and trails right behind the Yome, and enough seclusion to make it feel like you've got the place to yourself.

Aside from a small, solar generator to run the exhaust fan in the Yome and some solar lighting, these sites DO NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY, but you are welcome to bring a quiet generator.

This is a 3-night rental for the holiday weekend so you'll have plenty of time to unwind and relax with your group or maybe spend a day kayaking or pitch in on a pontoon river cruise. The possibilities are endless!

As always - we cannot allow extra animals on the farm due to livestock, wildlife, and the pets that live here. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Happy 18th to us!

On 08/08/08, HomeGrown HideAways officially became a legal entity in the state of Ky.

Help us celebrate by inviting all your friends to follow our page. We need around 1200 more followers to reach our goal of 18,000 by the end of month and we hope you can help.

This is also a reminder that we'll be closed for our annual retreat from Aug. 10-24, but we look forward to seeing familiar faces for Labor Day Weekend after we re-open.

See you soon!

Holly Heron is our 23-foot vintage vagabond named for the local birds that sometimes pitstop at our creek on their way between the two reservoirs. Unlike our other rentals, this one has the comfort and convenience of heat and AC, a fridge/freezer, microwave, 2 sinks, and a coffee maker

The slide out offers extra room between the couch and kitchen sink so it feels less cramped than a traditional travel trailer and also allows space for the couch to open into a toddler-sized bed. The dining booth can also be converted to another bed that's larger than a twin, but smaller than a double. The separate bedroom has the other sink and a short Queen bed.

Like our other rentals, there's no bathroom available in this one, but the poplar pooper outhouse is at the end of the driveway and the bathhouse is across the creek.

This listing is in close proximity to several other sites, including The Porch, Abi's Arboreal Abode (our treehouse-yurt), and 4 additional campsites with water and electric hookups so it's a great option for groups with a variety of camping needs.

All guests have access to our hundred-acre farm including the Community Farmhouse with chef-inspired kitchen and free EV charging, outdoor kitchen, bath house, playground, pavilion, hiking trails, yard games, board games, library, and creeks.

Due to livestock and resident dogs -
NO PETS. NO EXCEPTIONS!

will be here before you know it! If your house is too small to accommodate your extended family, maybe we can help!

Not only do we offer onsite lodging, but our Community Farmhouse has a chef-inspired kitchen with 4 ovens, 5 gas burners, 2 refrigerators, enough plates and utensils for a small army, dishwasher, 10-foot food prep island on wheels which can also be used for a buffet line, dedicated circuits for multiple crockpots, plus an outdoor kitchen with additional gas burners and a grill. The first floor is wheelchair accessible with it's own dining table and the second floor can seat ~36 guests. If the weather is decent, you can also make use of the 4000 sq.ft. Pavilion, playground, yard games, hiking trails, and bonfire pit.

Don't wait until the last minute and miss your chance to bring the whole family together for the holiday feast. Make your reservation here (discount available for booking the entire Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 25-29th): www.airbnb.com/rooms/1153035616639801158

(Day use availability will be opened in October if someone doesn't snag the full-farm rental. Message our page to get on the waiting list.)

Summer is winding down, but there's still time to squeeze in a quick trip before we have our annual closure from August 10-24. Fall dates are already getting booked so we definitely suggest planning ahead for the best selection because viewing the fall colors from your own, private treehouse is nothing short of magic.
