Hands down, I have never met someone as innovative as my brother Tommy.

If there’s a task at hand, guaranteed he will come up with some type of contraption to make that task easier.

And he’ll do it somehow, somewhere, unbeknownst to everyone… then just show up with the finished product, “I made this…”

This sign-holding contraption is just one very small example of the things he creates on a whim, simply because he sees a problem and figures out a better way to do it.

I swear there’s nothing he can’t figure out. Boy o' boy, are we lucky to have him!!!

Fall Fun Hilltop Dayz start TOMORROW!
and there’s plenty to do for the whole family!

Pick your own apples, take a tractor-pulled wagon ride, make your way through our tractor-themed corn maze, let the kiddos bounce the day away with Fun Box, enjoy live music, grab something delicious to eat, visit The Mobile Pub for cocktails and mocktails, and simply enjoy a fall day on the farm.

Pick-Your-Own Apples – Hilltop ONLY Saturday & Sunday/ Alongside Farm Store M-F
½ Peck — $14.43 (5–6 lbs)
1 Peck — $24.74 (10–12 lbs)
½ Bushel — $39.18 (20–24 lbs)

Fun Box Bounce Houses — $18 for an all-day wristband
Tractor-Pulled Wagon Rides — $5.15/person; ages 3 & under FREE
Tractor-Themed Corn Maze — $6.20/person; ages 3 & under FREE
TICKETS/WRISTBANDS/PYO BAGS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE HILLTOP AT TENTS NEAR SNACK SHACK.

Face painting will also be available on select days throughout the season. Not everyday, but most.

And there’s more to come! Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins will join the Hilltop fun in early October. 🎃

And remember, receive 3% off when paying with cash.

Hours & Parking
While the Farm Store is open 10 AM–6 PM, Hilltop activities and Pick-Your-Own run from 10:30 AM–5 PM, with the expectation that everyone makes their way off the Hilltop by 6 PM.

Parking on the Hilltop is $5 per car. You may also park near the Farm Store for FREE and make your way up to the Hilltop via our farm hike. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and if you’re bringing a stroller, one that can handle some rough terrain is recommended. It’s a bit of a hill!

Food & Music
Each weekend brings a rotating lineup of food vendors and live music to the Hilltop. And I must not forget The Mobile Pub, with all your favorite cocktails and mocktails! You can count on them being up on the Hilltop every Saturday and Sunday. If you don’t see their truck, just look for their table! There are a few weekends when the truck itself can’t make it, but don’t worry—they will still be there!

Back on June 18th, I wrote this post…

“Perhaps I’m jumping the gun telling y’all, but considering today is Ben’s birthday, I figured, heck, let’s share some good news that honors the man, the myth, the legend himself.

This fall, at the onset of our PYO Hilltop season, which generally begins in early September, we will be officially changing the name of our ‘Hilltop’ to ‘The Ben March Hilltop.’

Pretty cool, huh?

We think so.

We can’t wait to get the new sign. We can’t wait to put it up, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it as they drive in and remember the man whose idea transformed it into a reality.

Happy Birthday, Benny!

We love you. We miss you. We will remember you and hold you in our hearts, always. 💚”

And so there ya have it Benny. Just in time for Hilltop season.

What a joy it will be to see your name on that sign each time we pass by.

Disclaimer: If you still hear us call it simply “the Hilltop” now and again, well, think of it like a nickname. Sometimes the name you’ve called something forever just rolls off the tongue a little easier. But make no mistake, its full name is The Ben March Hilltop.

Loving these new mushroom blends — and especially loving how simple the ingredients are.

Mushroom Cocoa: cocoa, cordyceps mushroom, reishi, lion’s mane, cinnamon & cloves.

Fall Fun Days on the Hilltop don’t just mean you get to pick apples.

It doesn’t just mean you get to sit yourself in the grass with a b**r in one hand, a grilled cheese sandwich in the other, and some good music playing in front of you.

It doesn’t just mean your kids get to bounce or make their way through the corn maze with giggles and hoots.

It also means you get to explore this farm. And trust me, there’s so much to see.

Enjoy it. Cherish it. Pay attention. Take it all in.

Because there’s a whole lot more growing here than what you came to pick. 💚

Looking for baking help once again! Unfortunately, the person we had lined up got hurt, so we’re back on the hunt.

We’re looking for someone Monday and Friday mornings from about 6 AM–10 AM, with the possibility of some additional hours here and there throughout the week.

Please understand that this job does involve some heavy lifting, and dependability is a must. Early mornings mean we really need someone we can count on!

EMBER IS BACK!!!

There’s something pretty magical about sitting around a table on top of the Hilltop, surrounded by orchards and farmland, watching the sky change while course after course comes out.

It’s more than dinner. It’s an experience. And these are your last two chances to experience it this year.

Well, it wouldn’t be very neighborly of us now, would it, if we didn’t also highlight other happenings in our little town of Bethlehem this weekend?

World famous. You heard me right. The WORLD FAMOUS Bethlehem Fair is also this weekend!

Typically, we wouldn’t open our Hilltop the same weekend as the Bethlehem Fair, but typically we DO open it the second weekend of September. Because if we waited another week, we’d lose a whole lot of apples. They start falling off the trees whether we’re ready or not!

So, how about spending the entire day in Bethlehem this weekend?

Perhaps you start at the Bethlehem Fair and end up at March Farm. Perhaps you start at March Farm and end up at the Bethlehem Fair. Regardless of which way you choose to organize your day, our little town of Bethlehem will definitely make you scream HOORAY!

And worth mentioning! The Bethlehem Fair has the BEST exhibits. As a kid, making vegetable people was my JAM! If you’re local to the area, take the time, make some memories with your kids, and make yourself a vegetable person to enter. Seriously. These are the things they’ll remember. 💚

This year it’s $18 to jump ALL DAY for your kiddos… or, maybe, yourselves. No judgment here.

Please note: Fun Box’s wristband tent will be located alongside the March Farm ticket/PYO apple bag tent, both located near the Snack Shack.

But that’s not all. In addition to that MONSTER of a bounce house, we’ve got:

Can you believe it?! It’s weekend ONE of our Hilltop Fall Fun Dayz!

And here you have it — your food lineup for the coming weekend!

Come hungry because we’ve got a little bit of everything happening between the Hilltop, Farm Store and playground. From grilled cheese and soup to pizza, burgers, kettle corn, hand-cut fries, lemonade and plenty more.
