Our Pine River butters and cheese spreads are fully stocked again, and our coolers are packed with freshly bottled milk. The freezers are full too, so whether you're stocking up for the week or just stopping in for a treat, we've got you covered.

And don't forget the ice cream! 🍨 Come out for a scoop... or two. After all, ice cream is good in any weather. 😋

🐱🚜 One of the Perks of Farm Kid Life... Surprise Kittens! 🚜🐱

While exploring the barn, our kids made an unexpected discovery—a hidden litter of kittens! 😆

Meet the newest barn residents:
🐾 Whiskers
🐾 Tiger
🐾 Lil Dude
🐾 Fluffball

The kittens are settling into farm life nicely and have already begun their training in napping, looking adorable, and supervising chores from a safe distance. They also give our milk 5 stars 👌

Also, our store is open today (Thursday) from 3–7 PM and tomorrow (Friday) from 3–7 PM!

Come on out, grab an ice cream, and stock up on all your favorite farm staples. We've also got some sourdough loaves (on Thursday & Sat).

And before anyone asks... no, the barn kittens are not available in the store. 😹 Sorry! You'll have to settle for milk and ice cream instead.

🐔🪶 The Hens Are Molting! 🪶🥚

If you've noticed fewer eggs in the cooler lately, our ladies have a good excuse!

Our laying hens are currently going through their annual molt. Molting is a natural process where chickens shed their old feathers and grow a fresh new set for the seasons ahead. Think of it as their yearly makeover—except instead of a trip to the salon, they spend weeks looking a little scruffy while growing beautiful new feathers. 😆

Growing feathers takes a lot of energy, so many hens slow down or even stop laying eggs during this time, which means egg production is lower than usual. During this time we feed them a high protein diet as well as yummy meal worms to help give them a boost.

You can definitely tell in the pictures which hens are molting—and apparently even by the look on our son's face. In his words, "They're balbd and kind of nasty looking!" 😂 Yes, he says balbd, and it's honestly too cute for us to correct. Sorry, girls... his review was not exactly five stars. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

Buuuut to help keep eggs on the shelves, we'll be bringing in farm-fresh eggs from our friends at Rieden Family Farm Store so we won't leave you hanging.

🥛🌎 Happy World Milk Day! 🌎🥛

It's June 1st, which means we're celebrating World Milk Day and kicking off June Dairy Month! 🎉🐄

Around here, we sure love milk—from caring for our cows every day to bottling fresh milk right here on the farm. ❤️🥛

In fact, each Stapel family drinks 9-20 gallons of milk per week! 😳🥛 We like to think we're doing our part to keep those bottles moving.

Yesterday, May 31st, marked one full year of opening our Creamery. 🎉 We created this review so you can look back at the past year with us! ❤️

A year ago, we opened up the doors for the first time with nervous anticipation, just waiting to see if anyone would show up. 🫣 ...Okay, we weren't that desperate, but when you pour your heart and resources into a project, you sure hope it wasn't for nothing.

Long story short, there was a line of people out the door throughout the day and we ended the night exhausted, overwhelmed with gratefulness, and stomachs that ran on pure adrenaline and ice cream (we had a hard time sitting down and eating a real meal).

It has been an absolute rollercoaster (especially the part where rollercoasters don't slow down...that sounds very accurate 😂), but we wouldn't trade that ride for anything. Thank you for faithfully buying milk each week, cheering us on, and showing up to support us in so many ways.

It has been a good year. May God bless us with many, many more.
