Wisconsin State Convention next weekend Lilah will be bringing a few Polish Rabbits looking to HOP, as well as raise funds for going to the ARBA Convention in Reno! 😄

The boss says here’s the list:

-black senior bucks x2
-black sr doe
-black broken jr doe
-broken blue sr doe
-black broken jr Buck
-chocolate broken jr Buck
-lilac broken senior buck
-lilac senior Buck (just recently turned senior in August (PENDING)

Room has to be made for national polish show babies…so these are the cuts for now…for now..

Rabbit show at the fairgrounds today! We had a stellar group of judges, and helpers.

17 rabbits made the trip, 2 are heading to the blue ribbon small animal auction on Labor Day!

Lilah and Anthony have been practicing showmanship for the past few weeks, and least to say it paid off! Lilah won champion beginner showman, and Anthony 3rd place!

Large animal auction tonight at 6:45 pm, in the coliseum, where Anthony will be offering up “Black Betty”. Lilah had 2 very nice pigs, just not what the judge was looking for…however bacon is still delicious.

If anyone’s interested for half a pig, please reach out to Brandon or myself-their butcher date is September 14.

Pigs are at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds and settled!

It’s never an easy moving day to the fair when it’s over 90 and the humidity makes you sweat by just standing there. We even waited till 4:30 to load, but still everyone lost 10-15 lbs on the way.

Swine show starts at 8:30 am tomorrow morning, for those who wanna come and have some fun! 😄

Broken blues for days- there is a one month difference between the one on the far left and the two on the right. You can definitely tell who has a finished coat and who’s got baby coat- Lilah is excited about her brokens, whether that be the broken blues, the broken chocolates, or even the broken blacks. Sadly, no broken lilacs this round. But maybe for Polish nationals 🤭

However, don’t let Dad hear Lila‘s and my plan for breeding pairs. He just finished a set of new cages…

Day 2 of Wisconsin State fair, was great! Thunderstorm warnings and taking shelter in the middle of the polish breed-just added to the fun 🤣

Now we spoke on the way home about how great of a fair this was for our family! It’s always fun to show the open breeders what Lilahs cooking up for convention- her itty bitty juniors made their debut at State fair. And this was Yzzy’s babies last show as Jrs.
