The passionate culinary team, with an in-house butcher, and charcutier, embraces local ingredients, ethnic flavors, and artisan producers to create a farm-house inspired menu. On tap, our brewmaster utilizes a custom on site brewery, a background of science, and a formal education in classic brewing techniques, to produce both traditional and innovative beers.

The cask is live! Keeping to our anniversary week theme, we cooked up a Kentucky Common Ale - a pre-Prohibition style that frequently went from grain to glass in as little as a week. Historically, brewers would transfer the still fermenting beer into casks where it would finish and carb, before pouring straight out of them. To honor that tradition we're dropping three casks from now til Saturday.

First up: Kentucky Common conditioned on Ohio wildflower honey.
We'll have orange blossom and maple variants Fri and Sat respectively. Come try 'em all!

CASK & COMMON- started with a new beer release and the idea to have a little fun with Kentucky Beer meets Ohio Bourbon.

Covered in Bees - Honey Lager | 5.6%

What started off as a one-off competition entry has turned into a full-blown seasonal and one of our brewer's passion projects. Honey is super cool because its flavor, color, and texture are all dependent upon the source nectar - so the same varietal of honey from different locations has wildly different character. Over the past few years, we've refined our sourcing and tried to find ways to enhance the honey character without overshadowing it with other ingredients.

This year we stripped her down. We sourced Spanish orange blossom honey (inspired by the USA sampler pack, even if they wouldn't give up their sources) and pulled all the character malt from the brew. Orange blossom flavors are augmented by a light Mandarina Bavaria addition in the whirlpool. You can expect floral and citrus notes against a semi-sweet grainy background and refreshing bitterness in this toast to summer.

Conditioned with Pennsylvania maple syrup
