The lavender has been harvested, the fields are quiet, and another season at Bates Lavender Farm has come to a close.

💜 Eight seasons. It’s hard to believe.

What started with a love for lavender has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Each summer, we get to welcome old friends, meet new ones, and share this little piece of our farm with people from right down the road—and from all over the world.

To everyone who wandered through the fields, picked a bundle, enjoyed a lavender lemonade, took home a jar of honey, bought a plant, visited the farm stand, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you.

You are the reason we look forward to opening the gates every summer.

Now the fields get a well-earned rest, but things won’t exactly be quiet around here. Over the next six months, we’ll be spending time with family and friends, working around the farm, and making all of our Bates Lavender products for next season.

On Sunday, August 9th, around 11:00, enjoy a live performance by Rebecca (cellist) and Brinsley (violinist) as they fill the fields with beautiful melodies.
