We’ve got a pretty great weekend lined up at Fallen Tree, and Friday night is coming in strong.

No schedule. No rush. Just wine, lunch, mountain views and a Sunday afternoon at Fallen Tree.

And we’re pretty proud to be one. 😂🍷

We hear it all the time. 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥’𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦.

Then Robert left us this five star review and pretty much summed up exactly what we’ve always wanted this place to be.

Good wine. Good people. A place where you get comfortable, stay awhile, and feel like you’re among friends.

Great hang? We’ll happily take it.

We’re packing a lot into one Friday night at Fallen Tree.

🦀 Sweet Jane’s Kitchen | 4–7 PM — Jumbo lump Maryland-style crab cake sandwiches, grilled to order.

🎶 Rebecca Romano | 4:30–7:30 PM — Live music, wine in your glass, and the Blue Ridge as the backdrop.

🛍️ Friday Night Pop-Up Shopping — Artesano Made will be here with handcrafted wood goods, including cutting boards, charcuterie boards, French rolling pins, soap dishes and more.

Golden Goods is bringing small-batch bath, body and self-care products, including whipped tallow moisturizers, goat’s milk soaps, sugar scrubs, body oils, perfumes, balms and more.

🍷 And of course, we’re open until 8 PM.

Come hungry. Come thirsty. Shop a little. Listen to some great music. Catch the sunset.

Yesterday was perfect - we’re doing it again. 😎🍷

Here’s what Sunday looks like at Fallen Tree:

🎶 Paxton Henderson | 1–4 PM — Modern bluegrass and singer-songwriter music on the mountain.

🧁 Chelle’s Shack Homemade Goods | 1–4 PM — Fresh breads, baked goods, desserts, sweet treats and handmade goods.

🥪 The Crozet Melt is back today — Our Lady of the Angels Gouda and Chiles Orchard apple butter on Praha Bakery bread, grilled with honey butter and finished with a little flaky sea salt. And yep, every ingredient comes from right here in Crozet.

We’re open 11–5 today.

This picture aged badly. 😂

About 10 minutes after we took it, a 50 MPH wind gust came ripping through ahead of the cold front and sent our deck umbrellas airborne.

Most have been recovered.

One remains at large.

If you see a large tan umbrella somewhere over the Blue Ridge Mountains, please tell it we’re not mad. We just want it to come home.

Owning a winery. It can be very glamorous. 🍷😂

Quiet now. Give it a few hours. 😎🍷

We’re getting Fallen Tree ready for another Saturday in the vineyard. The umbrellas are up, the wine is chilling, and the kitchen is getting ready. Right now, it’s just us and the mountain views. That won’t last long.

🎸 Ty Burkhardt plays 2:30–5:30, bringing his incredible finger-style guitar and everything from ’80s classics to modern favorites.

🍎 And the Crozet Melt is on the menu this weekend, Praha Bakery bread, Our Lady of the Angels Gouda, Chiles Orchard apple butter, grilled in honey butter and finished with flaky sea salt.

🍷 Doors open at 11AM.

The fruit flies are going to hate us. 😂🍷

It’s that time of year in Virginia wine country. The weather is beautiful, the wine is flowing…and the fruit flies have arrived.

So we came up with a simple solution.

Free Fallen Tree wine toppers. Grab one, cover your glass when you’re not sipping, and keep those tiny freeloaders out of your wine.

No charge. No gimmick. Just one less thing to worry about while you’re enjoying a glass at Fallen Tree.

It’s your wine, not theirs. 🍷🌳

Meet The Crozet Melt. 🍎🧀 This is as local as it gets.

Praha Bakery bread, Our Lady of the Angels Monastery Gouda, and Chiles Orchard apple butter, all from right here in Crozet. We brush the outside with honey butter, grill it until golden and gooey, then finish it with a little flake sea salt for that perfect sweet and salty bite.

The Crozet Melt will be available this weekend, along with our regular Fallen Tree favorites like pizzas, sandwiches, and charcuterie.

The kitchen opens at 5 PM Friday and will be cooking all weekend.

Crozet made. Fallen Tree grilled. Damn good. 🍷🧀🍎
