Experimenting with my first tea infusion!
You can get the red tea I used in this locally from . I've been attending his Heart of Tea cohort and he gave us this wonderful teas to start with, a 2025 Spring "Beyond the Clouds" red tea originally sourced from Taiwan via .
Inspired by the arrival of Lunar New Year and wanting to honor the lineages of tea and cacao, both heart-opening medicines, I tried this first infusion.
I already received a lesson in minding the hot water. The water boiled over into the tea-infused chocolate! While it's a no no in chocolatemaking I kept going with this batch and let it be a reminder of being open to the imperfections, the lessons and in remaining a student to it all.
