Reflection post #1 - I'm not sure I can find all the words to say how humbly grateful I am for this season. There was so much surrender and growth on so many levels. In past years by the time we reached Sept/October we were burned out and ready for the frost. That has not been the case this year, this year has been more than I could have ever anticpated in a great way.
We had such an emotional rough start with cold season flower failure, root aphids, and a lot of unknowns/moving pieces. We hit a point where we just said God, we are ready and willing no matter what this year looks like and wow, I am left in awe again.
This was also our yes to trying new things year. It has been my greatest joy and honor to invite the kids more into the process. They have found a lot of excitement in going to classes with us and helping run events. To work together as a family is more than I could have ever dreamed of. Sometimes the work is incredibly overwhelming but we have learned to work hard and play hard. I love too that the kids get to see the hard work of spring turn into the blooms of summer.
We have a list of things we need to work on (definitely in the form of office work side) and a list of some BIG changes we are SO EXCITED TO SHARE over the next few months for next year. These changes will significantly help the physical labor side of things allowing us to where all the hats of this business a little better. We have big dreams, big goals, and a big big God!
