Regulator Ranch is actively negotiating the following projects :

AirBNB:

Located on a mesa with 360 degree mountain views and a postcard sunset over the La Plata Mountain Range, peace is found here on Regulator Ranch. With no man-made light pollution for miles, the night sky opens up and seemingly swallows the entire world as we know it. We aim to convert our 30'x15' shed into a one bedroom cabin on Regulator Ranch. Our hope is to share this wonderful mountain farming experience with those that appreciate life and respect nature. Goat Milk Products

Now that Daisy is in milk, and we finally a goat named Kobe, we are gearing up to begin various goat milk projects: pasteurized milk, soap, lotion, cheese, butter, ice cream... the options are endless! We are excited to learn new things and offer more products from Regulator Ranch.

In 2019 we bought our farm home and the first ranch purchase we made was a horse trailer. We didn't have any animals that would need a trailer at the time, but we knew that someday it would be of use. Fast forward almost 7 years and we finally found purpose for it.

A friendly hello and a loud bray from the newest Regulators, Cheech & Chong 🫏

A wild burro herd roams the Kaibab National Forest at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. At times, the herd size becomes too large for the amount of water and vegetation available in their desert climate. When the herd gets too big, forest rangers round some of them up and adopt them out to loving homes.

Just three days after bringing them home, Cheech warmed up to us and demanded pets and brushes every time we stepped outside. It took Chong a little longer to adjust from life in the wild, but after just three weeks Cheech & Chong were fighting over attention from the strange, two-legged, food-delivering creatures called humans.

It's been an adventurous couple of months with the burros and we are excited for more to come!

Last fall we rescued three kittens from a friend's barn: Rupert Pupkin, Dirty Dominic DeCoco, and Beatrix Hopewell. Then in April we adopted another kitten, Mannix Bowdre, from a lovely woman who fosters feral cats just south of us in Aztec. These four kitties have brought so much joy and happiness to our house (and also great destruction 😹)

How many new Regulators do you think there are?!

Kayza Söze says, most importantly, she wants everyone to know we had lots of lake time together 🐾 🌊 💜🏞
