We are getting wild and crazy over here! Back to back weeks of Bounty Bags, and this week we have options for bulk pickling cukes or bulk tomatoes! Lots of details in the Google form. Order by 6 am on Friday for pick up Friday between noon and 5 pm!

Bounty Bag - $30 - great variety of veggies!
Pickling Pack - $25 - 10 lbs of pickling cukes plus fresh cut dill
Tomato Packs - $75 for 20 lbs of tomatoes plus onions, basil, and garlic or $60 for just 20 lbs of tomatoes

So many choices to eat fresh or to put up some fresh produce for the winter!

Check out the Google form for all the details and to sign up. Plus, you can use your WIC Farmers' Market dollars to pay for your Bounty Bag. Cash and check are great too! Order by 5 pm on Thursday for pick up on the farm on Friday.

Friends, it’s time for pickling cukes! We’ve got literal bushels coming out of the tunnels this morning. Cukes available from noon to 3 pm at the farm today for $2.00/lb. Come and get them!

One week ago today we did our annual Garlic Harvest! Thanks to all the farm share members who came out to help! We harvested, graded, and tied up about 5500 bulbs of garlic. Now it’s all hanging in the barn and we will be ready to sell it by mid September. Our farm share members are the best 🧄

As part of Maine’s Year of the Woman Farmer, we’re pleased to recognize Erica Emery of Rustic Roots Farm in Farmington.

After returning to her hometown, Erica built Rustic Roots Farm from the ground up, creating a farm rooted in agriculture and service. Through her CSA programs and community partnerships, she has worked to ensure fresh, healthy food reaches seniors, low-income families, individuals with intellectual disabilities, first-generation college students, and others who might otherwise face barriers to access.

For Erica, farming has never been about appearances. It’s about neighbors and making sure people have access to fresh, local food and the dignity that comes with it.

Thank you, Erica, for showing how agriculture can nourish both people and communities.

Farm share season is underway and we always love the baskets, bags, boxes, and other creative containers people use to collect their share each week. Plus we REALLY love filling up our own baskets in the field with farm fresh produce! Here’s to the official start of summer!

What a month May has been! So many updates and pictures to share with you, but for now, it's the last weekend to sign up for a farm share! Sign ups will close on Monday, June 1st. Also, this will be your face in August when you get a most perfect little baby cantaloupe of your own in your share!

Hi farm friends! Today is the annual Maine Fiddlehead Festival! You can find our spring dug parsnips for sale at the Greater Franklin Food Council booth and you can find me at the Farmington Food Co-op tent talk at 12:15. The farm won't have a booth this year, because, well, to be perfectly honest, we missed the window this spring to plant early, early spring greens. Come out today to shop from your favorite farms and food vendors, come listen to some great music, bring the kids, and celebrate spring in western Maine!
