Did you know dahlias are edible? Before last night’s freeze, we harvested all of our dahlias and carefully removed their petals onto our freeze dryer trays to preserve them for 25 years! Imagine these vibrant, edible petals on a frosted cake, rolled onto the outside of a log of goat cheese, or floating at the top of a fun cocktail. The possibilities are endless! Our tomato season is starting to slow down, and these Queen Bee cherries were one of favorites this year. Luckily, along with selling so many fresh tomatoes to all of our customers, we’ve also freeze dried a ton of them to preserve their sweet and savory taste (and all the nutrients) all year long!
