The farm is officially planted!! Woohoo! It took a while because we had such a cold start to the season but we got our last basil plant in the ground yesterday and wow, that felt great! Looking forward to LOTS of fresh (and freeze dried) tomatoes, peas, beans, potatoes, peppers, onions, basil, pumpkins, spinach, and garlic this season! See you soon in our farm store or at one of our farmers’ markets ( on Wednesdays from 10-1 and on Fridays from 10-1.)

It’s reishi season! Every year, a few old hemlocks on our property reliably produce beautiful reishi mushrooms which we harvest for the farm. This season, we will be making reishi tincture to accompany our lion’s mane tincture so that customers can enjoy the health benefits of these amazing mushrooms everyday. Reishis support your immune system, reduce stress, and improve sleep. Stay tuned for an announcement when the reishi tincture is ready!

I’m still thinking about how delicious this mushroom tart from was yesterday. It’s made with our oyster and shiitake mushrooms and ’s hot honey. Absolutely amazing. Alecco will have them again at the next Friday from 10-1. Come early because they’ll go quick!
