Lately more than ever I’ve been picking up a lot of trash in our cow pasture. Folks just do not realize what the simple act of throwing your trash out the window can mean to a small farmer. This is a tim can I found today. These can get caught in one of the four chambers of a cows digestive system and cause punctures or even death leading to hundreds of dollars in vet bills. Please be responsible and take your trash with you.

Why are small farms going under? Rising cost and shrinking margins. Here’s our biggest expense right here. And we had another few ton bulk blown into the feed bins. What we got this week will last us about six weeks. Feed went way up during Covid and never really returned to pre-covid prices. We are fortunate to have a local feed mill that delivers quality feed right to the farm. When you crack one of our eggs…wash up with our soaps…put spoon full of our honey in your tea and coffee…know that we truly put our all into every bit of it. We sincerely appreciate all of you and hope to provide you with quality products for years to come!

To our much appreciated customers,
I’ve been putting off this post for a while now and have been trying to find a way around it but the math just isn’t mathing these days so with that we need to raise the price of our goat milk soaps.
Reasons are many and I hate politics but tariffs have affected our botttom line, electric costs have affected our bottom line, feed costs have not returned to pre-COVID levels, the list goes on and on. Our raw materials alone have increased in price about a third on average and I REFUSE to use lesser quality materials. And unfortunately shea nuts do nut grow in the US. With all that being said our per bar cost will now be $8 and 5 or more will be $7 per bar starting February 16th. We will not be raising the price of our essential line so now all our bar soaps will be the same price.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and hope you will continue to support our farm. It’s all of you that make it all possible.
