Spent this past weekend with MK and CB at the NCHJA C Finals at Carolina Horse Park. MK qualified for the Children’s Medal and came in 7th overall out of a solid field of competitors. Their trip on Sunday was some of their best work as a team yet, so we are looking forward to seeing what 2027 brings! Thankful for such a lovely laid back weekend, spectacular weather, sweet kids and stellar horses. Not much more to ask for 🤍

Photo dump from a fun weekend with our girls at the Harmon Classics Pink Show! We had some wins, some great rides, and lots of laughs and learning along the way. So proud of our girls for how they encourage and support one another, and the love they have for their horses. Highlights from the weekend below 👇🏼

MollyKate Moreau and Comeback Kid competed in the 12-14 equitation, placing in large classes with a highlight being a win in the 12-14 flat, the two also moved up in height to do the Palmetto medal, NCHJA medal, and BRHJA junior medal, gaining some experience and putting some homework together. And finally the two put down a great trip for their first ever derby together in the SCHJA derby. Love continuing to develop these two together.

Alli Gillette and PlayStation competed for the first time together in the long stirrup division, their highlights including a second in their under saddle, a third in their equitation flat, and a second in one of their trips Sunday, with huge numbers in every class. Immensely proud of Alli’s focus and hard work moving from day one into day two and putting her pieces together. Well done girlfriend

Salma Buzzo and Splendent competed in the walk/trot poles and worked on their confidence in the show ring and having fun. Their highlights included a fifth in their under saddle, and a fourth in one of their trips, also with huge numbers in each class. The mental aspect of this sport is every bit as important as the physical and we applaud them for all their efforts to grow in this, as well as proud of them for just wanting to have fun!

Thanks to Lewis Pack and team for always putting on a fun series for us to enjoy and do what we love!

Next up - C medal finals at CHP in September!

Thank you to all our lovely clients who came to shower baby Edwards today, thank you to everyone who couldn’t make it but sent a gift, and a special thank you to our adult ammy ladies, who are so much more than that, but some of the closest of friends, Hope and Hannah, for hosting and planning all the fun cutie details.

Feeling so very loved! What a fun afternoon 🫶🏻🪿

Photo dump from Blowing Rock 2026 ⛰️☔️

Quite possibly the most rainy week we’ve ever spent on the rock but nonetheless, a great time was had by all. We had great food, great company, both competition wise, and farm family wise. Horses were absolutely wonderful, the girls learned, and got to yet again experience such a wonderful venue full of history and heritage. Plus a couple trail rides, and spending hours on end with our favorite creatures jumping sticks. Makes for a stellar week.

Looking forward to doing it all again next year 🤍

Successful weekend at the PSJ Summer Sizzler at Highfields. A great final prep show for our girls before we head up the mountain next week for BRCHS 2026

Madelyn Metzcus broke her two year horse show hiatus to get back in the ring with JJ and had good rides in good company

Savannah Reynolds and Campari continue to improve as a pair and also had great rides in the long stirrup

Way to power through the heat girls, now let’s go escape it for a week on the mountain! Can’t wait 😍

Tryon Summer 2 was a fun one!

MollyKate Moreau and Charlie Brown were stellar in the Low Children’s Hunters taking Reserve and putting in some of their best trips as a pair together

Savannah Reynolds and Campari made huge improvements in the Long Stirrup from day one into day two and also put in their best trips so far together as a pair, with their highlight being a second in a second hunter trip Sunday

Salma Buzzo and Simon continue to learn and put their pieces together as a team, and were Reserve both days in the opportunity walk/trot/canter

Love this crew and their families and doing this thing together. Personal growth is one of the most rewarding things to see as their trainer. Xoxo ladies, let’s do it all again in Aiken 🔜

Better late than never horse show post!

Last weekend we had so much fun at SATP’s Red White & Blue Memorial Day Classic. With a sold out show, it made for a long but worth it weekend. Five girls and their horses, with plenty of learning, a few good ribbons to bring home, and most importantly experiences you can’t find anywhere else. As always so proud of these ladies for their sportsmanship, always supporting one another, taking the highs and lows in stride, always with a smile on their face and readiness to care for their horse that takes such good care of them!

Looking forward to Tryon Summer two in a few weeks 🐴
